Located in Central Louisiana, The Nest is a natural conservatory for a variety of domestic birds to include sixteen colorful peacocks as well as a rare albino peacock. This lucky peacock was rescued from the mouth of a native snake and now shows its gratitude by gracing The Nest with its glorious plumage.

Extraordinary sculptures are strategically placed throughout The Nest grounds. Nationally recognized sculptor, Russell Whiting, is the artist in residence. His studio is open to the public by appointment.
